A roof restoration can be a cost-effective option when the roof structure and roofing system remain suitable but the surface is weathered, faded or showing manageable defects.
We inspect the roof first to determine whether restoration is the right option. Where suitable, the process can include cleaning, replacement of broken tiles, ridge and hip repairs, re-pointing, preparation and application of the selected roof coating system.
If the underlay, fixings or overall roof condition mean replacement is the better investment, we will explain that before recommending restoration.

What a restoration includes

Clean and prepare
The roof is cleaned and prepared, clearing moss, lichen and build-up so the condition of the tiles, ridges and flashings can be properly seen.

Agreed repairs
The agreed tile, ridge and flashing repairs are completed — broken tiles replaced, ridge and hip tiles reset, flashings checked.

Re-point
Ridge and hip lines are re-pointed where required — cracked or missing mortar is a common way for water to find its way in.

Re-coat
The selected re-coating system is applied in accordance with the product requirements, sealing the surface and putting the colour back.
